Mentoring - Mortgage Broker

Mentoring Starting a career in Mortgage Broking - Mrs Mortgage might be the place for you!

Are you new to the broker industry and need a position being mentored by an experienced mortgage broker?

Changes to legislation mean that any newly trained broker must first work under a more experienced mortgage broker, learning and gaining experience for at least two years before going it alone in the industry, or being able to call themselves a fully-fledged broker.

Industry bodies such as the Finance Brokers Association of Australia (FBAA) and Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia (MFAA) require that an applicant with less than 2 years proven experience in finance/mortgage broking (over the past five years), be nominated for membership by another member (or member’s representative).

A professional mortgage broker will look after by mentoring the applicant until they have had at least 2 years experience in their chosen field of brokering or finance.

Mrs Mortgage is in a position take on a small number of select individuals that fit the Mrs Mortgage ethos.

If you are looking for a mortgage broker mentor, contact us, letting us know a bit about yourself, and we’ll see if we can make this work positively for both of us!

As an expanding business in an industry that is in need of ethical and hard-working people, we are ever on the lookout for new and competent people.

If you have experienced in the Broking industry, if you are or have been a broker in the past, if you are a professional administrator then we may be looking for you.

Let us know that you may be interested, and tell us a bit about why you think you might fit into the Mrs Mortgage family, and we’ll take it from there!

Mentoring is NOT a legislative requirement under NCCP for Credit Representatives, however, most Aggregators & Industry Bodies, such as FBAA and MFAA have imposed their own mentoring requirements for new members
